![]() ![]() Now about the sound quality of the game, the levels music. This action game is now abandonware and is set in a fighting and versus fighting themes. They added another tower on this with one with a harder difficulty level, but the experienced player can make it through pretty easy. publishes Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 on Genesis. Now on to the computer, it is somewhat harder to beat compared to MK3 but still not all that hard. Im not saying they cant be done but i find it very hard to do sometimes. Mostly from the fact your using a d-pad instead of the famous joystick, system slow done compared to the arcade version, and plain just controller in general. Some of the downfalls include: Some fatalities changed, animalities are taken out and replaced with brutalities, game will crash but not too often, some combos that can be done in the arcade version (12-20 hits, more then 100% damage) are hard and if not in way impossible to pull off in this port. In my opinion UMK3 on the Genesis was my favorite port of the game, but the Sega version will have its downfalls especially being the arcade version is incredible. All it really comes down too is that is MK3 but with extra characters, some new levels, combos, and even the everlasting glitches to appear every now and then. I’ve had the first three for quite some time before managing to finally find UMK3, and I have been having fun with it since. ![]() I have all four Mortal Kombat games available on Sega Genesis. As most people know Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 was the last 2-d Mortal Kombat to come out of the 16bit era (Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo) But it does not disappoint.
